Dave
Founder, Director & Support Worker

Dave

Hi, I’m Dave, the founder and director of Guardian Support & Transport. I’m passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of people with disability and enjoy being actively involved in supporting our participants.

I was born and raised on the Gold Coast and have a background in information technology and private transport. I’m married with three children and enjoy fishing, playing golf and spending time with my family.

I’ve also always had a keen interest in technology and am usually on the lookout for the latest IT, gadgets and new technology. I’m not one to take things too seriously and enjoy having a joke and a laugh along the way. I think a bit of humour can make almost any situation a little lighter — after all, you’ve got to have a laugh! And if you’re brave enough, ask me for a dad joke!

Bianca
Disability Support Worker

Bianca

Hi, I’m Bianca, a Disability Support Worker with Guardian Support & Transport. What I enjoy most is helping people get out and stay connected to the things they like doing — whether that’s an outing, an appointment or just a regular coffee somewhere familiar. I take the time to learn what matters to each person, and I work at their pace, not mine.

Christopher
Disability Support Worker

Christopher

Hi, I’m Christopher, a Disability Support Worker with Guardian Support & Transport. I think the most important part of this job is being someone you can count on — turning up when I said I would, and doing what I said I’d do. I’m happy supporting people with everyday tasks, getting out in the community, or working steadily towards a goal.

Cooper
Disability Support Worker

Cooper

Hi, I’m Cooper. I’ve been working as a Disability Support Worker for four years and really enjoy being able to make a positive difference in the lives of the people I support.

I’m 24 and was born and raised on the Gold Coast. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner, friends and family, as well as my two energetic Labradors, Benji and Shadow. I love sport, the beach, camping and pretty much anything outdoors.

I’m also a Gold Coast 8 Ball representative and spend plenty of my spare time training and working on my game.

Deborah
Disability Support Worker

Deborah

Hi, I’m Deborah, a Disability Support Worker with Guardian Support & Transport. I’m a good listener, and I’ve found that’s most of the job. Everyone wants something a bit different from their support, so I ask, and then I fit around it. I enjoy helping people keep their independence and stay involved in the things that matter to them.

Grant
Disability Support Worker

Grant

Hi, I’m Grant, a Disability Support Worker with Guardian Support & Transport. I’m practical by nature and I like being useful — helping with daily living, getting to appointments, or sorting out the things that make a week run more smoothly. I treat everyone with respect and I’m happy to take direction on how you want things done.

Jacob
Disability Support Worker

Jacob

Hi, I’m Jacob, a Disability Support Worker with Guardian Support & Transport. I really enjoy the part of this work where someone realises they can do more than they thought. I’m here to support, not take over, so I’ll back you to have a go and step in where you want me to. Building confidence and independence is the goal.

Karina
Disability Support Worker

Karina

I’m friendly, positive and down-to-earth, and I genuinely enjoy helping people get the most out of their day. I’m 36, originally from New Zealand, and moved to the Gold Coast three years ago for the beautiful weather and relaxed lifestyle. I’m also a proud mum of two, which has taught me plenty about patience, understanding and adapting when things don’t quite go to plan.

I grew up playing tennis full-time, so fitness has always been a big part of my life. I enjoy going to the gym, keeping active and spending time outdoors. I love encouraging others to have a go, try something new and gently push their limits with plenty of friendly encouragement along the way. I’m a people person who loves a good chat and a laugh, and I enjoy making a positive difference in someone’s day, one support shift at a time.

Kellie
Disability Support Worker

Kellie

Hi, I’m Kellie, a Disability Support Worker with Guardian Support & Transport. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and to have a real say in their own support. I enjoy helping people get the most out of their day, stay connected to their community, and keep doing the things that are important to them.

Meghana
Administration

Meghana

Hi, I’m Meghana, part of the administration team at Guardian Support & Transport. I look after the behind-the-scenes work that keeps everything running — bookings, rosters, paperwork and making sure the right support worker is in the right place. If you call or email the office, there’s a good chance you’ll hear from me.

Melannie
Disability Support Worker

Melannie

Hi, I’m Melannie, a Disability Support Worker with Guardian Support & Transport. I enjoy working alongside people on the goals they’ve set for themselves — sometimes big ones, often small everyday ones. Progress looks different for everybody, and I like being part of it. I’ll always take the time to understand what you’re working towards.

Melina
Disability Support Worker

Melina

Hi, I’m Melina, a Disability Support Worker with Guardian Support & Transport. Getting out and staying connected makes a real difference to how a week feels, so I enjoy supporting people with community access and social activities. I’m easy to get along with and I take the time to understand what each person actually wants from their support.

Melissa
Disability Support Worker

Melissa

Hi, I’m Melissa, a Disability Support Worker with Guardian Support & Transport. Everyone has their own routine and their own way of doing things, and I fit in around that rather than the other way round. I enjoy providing reliable, friendly support that helps people stay independent and keep control of how their day runs.

Mercaydez
Disability Support Worker

Mercaydez

Hi, I’m Mercaydez, a Disability Support Worker with Guardian Support & Transport. I’m an encouraging sort of person and I enjoy helping people get the most out of their day, whether that’s out in the community or working towards something at home. I treat everyone with respect and take the time to understand what’s important to them.

Neil
Disability Support Worker

Neil

Hi, I’m Neil, a Disability Support Worker with Guardian Support & Transport. I’m dependable and straightforward, and I think that counts for a lot in this work. I’m glad to help with daily living, transport and getting out and about, and I’ll always work to how you want things done rather than assuming I know best.

Rachel
Disability Support Worker

Rachel

Hi, I’m Rachel, a Disability Support Worker with Guardian Support & Transport. I take the time to understand how someone likes to communicate and what they want from their support, because that’s where good support starts. I enjoy helping people maintain their independence, their choices and their connection with the community.

Ramya
Administration

Ramya

Hi, I’m Ramya, part of the administration team at Guardian Support & Transport. I help with scheduling, enquiries and the day-to-day coordination that keeps supports running smoothly. I’m often the first point of contact for new participants and families, and I’m always happy to talk through how we can help.
